Last year’s winner, Lee Flavin scooped the full £50,000 prize to accelerate his venture RateSwitch, which helps mortgage owners find the best rates from their existing lenders – even if their family or financial circumstances have changed.
The Cardiff based start-up has now revamped its whole business, doubled in size, forged key strategic partnerships with major business partners and is set to grow rapidly in 2019.

How to enter the Great British Entrepreneur Challenge
To enter your start-up or early stage company in the Great British Entrepreneur Challenge, please email [email protected]
Your application should include:
Your name and contact details (including email, mobile phone, relevant social media links).A summary of your business idea, why it’s different from competitors and how big your market is (up to 150 words).A summary of what you have achieved so far, including sales and progress you have made (up to 150 words). Tell us why you are the right person or team to benefit from the Great Entrepreneur Challenge (up to 150 words). A link to any websites, videos or other useful information to help with your application.
Deadline for the first round of the Great British Entrepreneur Challenge: 1 March 2019.
Between 10 March and 20 March, applicants may be contacted for information and feedback.
